Board of Directors


ERIC BUSTOS: Eric was born and raised in the Oakley area.  He resides in Brentwood with his wife where they raised their three daughters. Eric has been involved in many ministries throughout his Church which included leadership positions some including Parish council, stewardship committee, board of Emmaus retreats, etc.  Eric is currently a Director of Western Digital which makes computer storage.  He has been in this industry for over 30 years.  Eric has personal experience with Dementia as his mom was diagnosed 10+ years ago.  He has been actively involved in her progressing care for almost 5 years.  

MICHAEL GRIMES: SAV President
Mike is a Licensed Speech Pathologist and a retired educator who has ties to the Discovery Bay and Brentwood area.  He has many years experience in creating and implementing programs for the youth from pre-school through high school. Mike has written therapeutic children's workshop books and was also a principal in the private sector. With Mike's wife having lived with Alzheimer's disease, Mike took a firsthand approach in trying to help fund the research of ALZ.  He currently is an Ambassador for Alzheimer's to Jacky Rosen of Nevada.  


LISA KIMBLE: Respite Director, SAV Treasurer
Lisa lives in the Discovery Bay area and has been in the Delta region since 1998.  She started the Respite Program for SAV and implemented the DLC that was active during the school closures with Covid-19.  Lisa was a successful business owner of two companies and has vast experience in book-keeping and accounting, not only for her own endeavors, but also for restaurants in the Brentwood area.  Lisa has four grown children and has been on many fundraising committees and volunteered in multiple schools, churches, and community events over the past 30 years.


MICHAEL RIGSBY: SAV Executive Director & Secretary 
Michael has been a Renovation Contractor and Developer licensed by California's State License Board since 2010.  He is the CEO of KMR Consulting, a corporation formed by him and his wife Kirsten for the purpose of helping local non-profits grow.  Michael is the contractor of record for Youth Employment Partnership and plays a supporting role in the workforce development of youth and young adults in and around Oakland.  In January of 2019, Michael accepted the role of Executive Director for St. Anne Village and is the Corporations Secretary.  Michael was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to Contra Costa County's Advisory Council on Aging having served since 2021.

JEFF UNLAP:  Jeffrey Unalp has been a CPA licensed in California since 1990 and an Attorney licensed in California since 2005.  He is currently the sole shareholder of both Unalp CPA Group, Inc. and Unalp Law, Inc.  He attended the University of Southern California School of Accounting and the University of San Francisco School of Law.    Jeff received a Certificate as a Non-Profit Specialist from the American Institute of Public Accountants.  While Unalp CPA Group primarily provides outsourced accounting services, Jeff has also prepared numerous tax returns for both for profits and Non-Profits and provided representation for clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, California Department of Tax & Fee Administration, and the Employment Development Department.


PAT WEBER: Pat has been a long-time community member and retired in Brentwood over 25 years ago. She has been involved in numerous volunteer positions at her Church and St Vincent de Paul.  She was also the SVP past secretary.  Pat is a retired public health nurse and brings knowledge to our board through her vast experiences.  

MARIA XIARIS: Maria lives in a nearby community with her 2 almost adult children.  She was the founding director and active volunteer for the non-profit organization Clayton Valley Village which was a network of neighbors supporting each other as they aged in place in their home.  Maria currently works as a Special Ed teacher with children ranging in disabilities from mild to severe.  Prior to this she was a manager/human resource director for two separate companies (National Casualty & Intel).  Before that she was an independent consultant for Franklin Covey.  Maria brings personal experience to our board as her husband lived with FTD for many years before passing in late 2021.  She has been trained in the caregiving of dementia both professionally and through her own research.
